The address

Email john@godlessengineering.com. One person, not a ticket system.

There is no form, no ticket queue and no legal department, because there is nobody to staff them.

That is the same address the privacy policy, the terms, Support, Sources & licenses and About already publish. It is the only one this site has, so you have not missed a better route somewhere else.

What to send here

That is the address for a typo, a mis-aligned reference, a broken page, a licensing question, or a disagreement with something an analysis page says. If you find an error, tell me and I will fix it.

• A text error. — A typo, a verse number that is wrong, a reference that lands on the wrong passage, a chapter that stops short. The address of the page you were reading, and which translation it was, is most of what I need to find it.
• A page that will not work. — A link that goes nowhere, a panel that renders empty, something that will not read at the size you are reading it. What you were doing and what kind of device you were on is usually enough.
• A licensing or attribution question. — Everything served here is public domain or openly licensed, and each licence and the credit it requires are listed on Sources & licenses and Commentary sources. If a credit there looks wrong, or a source looks like it should not be here at all, that is worth an email.
• A disagreement with an analysis page. — The Scripture Analysis sections set out the readings people hold and attribute each one to whoever holds it. If an entry is misquoted, misattributed, or framed in a way that quietly takes a side, tell me which entry and what is wrong with it.
• Something that is missing. — A translation, a commentary voice, a section that ought to exist. I cannot promise to build it, but I would rather know than not.

What belongs somewhere else

Some things really do belong elsewhere, and sending them here only adds a step:

• Corrections to the source texts themselves. — Corrections to the underlying public-domain sources themselves are tracked upstream, with the projects that publish them. A translation’s wording belongs to the project that publishes it; what can be fixed here is how it is presented.
• Anything about Lemma. — Lemma is a separate app, for original-language work — interlinear text, Strong’s numbers and word-by-word morphology, none of which GEBible does. It has its own surfaces, and something wrong there is best reported there.
• Changing or cancelling a pledge. — That happens on Patreon, where the pledge itself lives. What each level does is set out on Support.
• Cookies, advertising and opting out. — The privacy policy owns all of it: what is set on your device, what an advertisement sets when the site shows you one, and how to opt out of personalised advertising. Read it there. This page names none of the specifics on purpose, so there is only ever one copy of them to keep true.
• What a free, one-person project can and cannot promise. — The terms say it, in the same voice as this page and at about the same length.

What happens next

There is no automatic acknowledgement and no ticket number, because nothing here issues one. There is no colleague to escalate to and no department to hand something to either, because there is neither.

This page will not put a turnaround time on anything, and that is not modesty. A schedule is the one thing I genuinely cannot commit to on a free site built in my own time, and a promise made here and then missed would cost more than the promise was worth. What About already says is the part that holds: if you find an error, tell me and I will fix it.
