Support GEBible
Everything here is free. These levels exist for readers who want to help pay for it.
These levels aren't open on Patreon yet, so nothing on this page can be pledged today.

Where your support goes
There's no company here and no investors. Support pays for the things this site runs on:
- Hosting — the servers that answer every lookup.
- Domains —
gebible.appand the addresses it runs under. - Open data — sourcing, checking and licensing the texts and commentary, all public-domain or openly licensed.
- Upkeep — keeping the data current and the site working.
The ads are there for readers who don't pledge. A paid level switches them off for you.
Who's behind this
GEBible is built by an independent developer who publishes under the name Godless Engineer. The site takes no position on the text: the scholarship it shows is public-domain or openly licensed and attributed to its source, and the sections it writes itself set out the readings people hold without picking one. More about the project.
Choose your level
Every page and every tool here is free at every level, and there is no permanent paywall. What a paid level changes is whether you see ads — and, on the top two levels, how soon new features arrive.
-
Free
$0/month
Everyone. This is the whole site.
No account, no paywall, and nothing on the site permanently held back for a paid level. New features open on the paid levels first and reach this level after. Ads run on the pages you read.
You're on this level.
-
Ad-free
$3/month
For readers who'd rather not see ads.
GEBible runs ads, and $3 a month turns them off — every page, every surface, for as long as you're supporting. Nothing else about the site changes: paying adds no pages and no tools of its own. What the money really buys is a site with no ads for you, and a vote to keep the rest of it free and unpaywalled for the people who never will.

-
Autodidact
$5/month
For readers who want new features first.
Your ads off, the same as $3, plus early access to new features while they're still being tested. It's a head start, not a bigger site: every one of them opens to every level once it's finished.

-
Seminary Student
$8/month
If $5 feels like too little.
Today this is exactly the $5 level: your ads off and the same early access, and nothing beyond it. Pledge here only if you want to give more — it unlocks nothing that $5 doesn't.

If that ever changes, it will change by these levels gaining something — never by the ad-free level losing something.
