How did Jeroboam die?
1 Kings 14:20 says Jeroboam I "slept with his fathers" — the standard Deuteronomistic idiom for peaceful death. 2 Chronicles 13:20 says the LORD struck him and he died, after he failed to recover strength following his defeat by Abijah.
