Does God dwell in darkness or in light?
1 Kings 8:12 and 2 Chronicles 6:1 declare that Yahweh said he would dwell in thick darkness, with Psalms 18:11 and 97:2 echoing the imagery. 1 Timothy 6:15-16 says God dwells in unapproachable light.
