2 Kings 13:10 dates Jehoash of Israel's accession to the thirty-seventh year of Joash of Judah. The first cited passage (2 Kings 13:1) gives Jehoahaz's accession in Joash's twenty-third year and a seventeen-year reign, totaling forty years before Jehoash takes over.
