Who makes people blind?
Exodus 4:11 has Yahweh personally claim authorship over blindness, deafness, and muteness — they are direct acts of God. Mark 9:17-25, by contrast, treats deafness and muteness as the work of a foul spirit that Jesus exorcises, and John 9:1-3 treats congenital blindness as a setup for a divine demonstration rather than a curse to be undone.
