Do seed time and harvest ever cease?
Genesis 8:22, the Noahic covenant, declares that while the earth remains, "seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease." The Joseph cycle then narrates seven years of famine so severe that famine extends "in all lands" and "over all the face of the earth" (Genesis 41:54, 41:56, 45:11).
