Does God have a body?
Genesis shows Yahweh strolling through Eden 'in the cool of the day' — audible footsteps, physical movement. John 4:24 and Luke 24:39 then insist God is a spirit who by definition has no flesh and bones.
Critical scholarship: Widely regarded as a genuine contradiction.

Was it OK to touch the risen Jesus before his ascension?
John 20:17 has Jesus tell Mary Magdalene, "Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father." Matthew 28:9 has the women hold Jesus by the feet and worship him.
Critical scholarship: Leans toward reconciliation.
