What current science says

Leprosy is a bacterial infection, not a genetic trait. It's caused by Mycobacterium leprae and spread through prolonged close contact, not through family bloodlines or spoken words. Sound waves from a human voice can't alter DNA, trigger bacterial infections, or affect the genome of future generations. To make leprosy hereditary, you'd need to somehow insert bacterial DNA into every reproductive cell in someone's body — which is not how anything works.

What the text says

This comes from 2 Kings 5:27. After a servant acted dishonestly, a prophet declared that the servant's leprosy would 'cling to you and your descendants forever' — weaponized hereditary disease via verbal decree.
