(24-29) And the priest shall take the lamb.—The ritual for the poor man’s sacrifices, however, is the same as that which is prescribed for the rich man. The solemnity and imposing nature of the service is not diminished, as both rich and poor are alike in the presence of the Lord. Hence the directions in Lev_14:24-29 in connection with the humbler sacrifices are simply a repetition of those ordained in Lev_14:12-18, to be observed in the case of the more costly offerings.
