The Pulpit Commentary 1880 · Public Domain En-rimmon, "the spring of Rimmon," is to be identified…
En-rimmon, "the spring of Rimmon," is to be identified with the "Ain and Rimmon" of Jos_15:32 two neighbouring villages, which ultimately grew into one. Zareah is no doubt the "Zoreah" of Jos_15:33, which was in the Shephelah, or low coast tract. Jarmuth is the town of Piram, who warred with Joshua. (Jos_10:3-27) Like Zareah, it lay in the low coast tract. (Jos_15:35)
