Ver. 18. And Edom shall be a possession.] This was literally fulfilled in David, {1Ch 18:13 Psa 60:8} but spiritually, and especially in Christ, {Isa 63:1-2, &c.} who shall shortly subdue the Romish Edomite. {2Th 2:8}
