Is it OK to make images?
The Second Commandment in Exodus 20:4 and Deuteronomy 5:8 prohibits making "any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath." Deuteronomy 4:16-18, 4:23, and 27:15 reinforce this as an absolute ban.
