Did Jesus go to heaven after he died but before his ascension?
Luke 23:43 has Jesus promise the criminal on the cross, "To day shalt thou be with me in paradise." John 20:17 has the resurrected Jesus tell Mary Magdalene, "Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father."

Was it OK to touch the risen Jesus before his ascension?
John 20:17 has Jesus tell Mary Magdalene, "Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father." Matthew 28:9 has the women hold Jesus by the feet and worship him.
