Questions where the Bible appears to say two different things, with the passages on each side set together.
Proverbs 23:4 ("labor not to be rich") is offered as a condemnation of get-rich-quick schemes including gambling. The opposite side stacks Numbers 26:52-56, 33:54, 34:13, and Joshua 14:2, 18:6, 19:51, 21:8 — Yahweh repeatedly commands the land of Canaan to be divided by lot (goral), and Joshua casts lots as a method of divine guidance.
