Which flying creeping things may we eat?
Deuteronomy 14:19 flatly declares that every creeping thing that flies is unclean and not to be eaten. Leviticus 11:21-23 creates an explicit exception: locusts, bald locusts, beetles, and grasshoppers with jointed legs for leaping may be eaten.
