Who are wiser, the children of this world or the children of light?
Luke 16:8 has Jesus declare, in the parable of the unjust steward, that "the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light." James 3:15-17 contrasts earthly, sensual, devilish wisdom with the wisdom from above, valorizing the wisdom of those aligned with God.
