Matthew 20:30 has Jesus healing two blind men as he leaves Jericho. Mark 10:46 has him healing one named blind man — Bartimaeus son of Timaeus — also leaving Jericho.

Did Jesus heal the blind man (or men) as he was leaving Jericho or as he was approaching it?
All three Synoptics tell the same Jericho healing story, but they can't agree on where Jesus was standing when he did it. Matthew and Mark put the miracle on the way OUT of Jericho "as they departed from Jericho" (Matt 20:29) and "as he went out of Jericho" (Mark 10:46).
Critical scholarship: Widely regarded as a genuine contradiction.

When was the blind man (or men) healed?
Matthew 20:29-30 and Mark 10:46 say Jesus healed blind men as he was departing Jericho. Luke 18:35 says Jesus healed a blind man as he approached Jericho.
