Did the eleven disciples believe the two men who claimed to see Jesus?
Luke 24:33-34 has the two Emmaus disciples return to Jerusalem and find the eleven already saying 'The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon' — meaning the eleven already believed, before the Emmaus pair even told their story. Mark 16:12-13 has Jesus appear to two disciples on the road, they report it to the rest, 'neither believed they them.'
Critical scholarship: Widely regarded as a genuine contradiction.

When did Jesus ascend into heaven?
Luke 24:51 has Jesus ascend on the day of resurrection itself, after a single day of post-resurrection appearances. Mark 16:19 has the ascension at the close of a sequence of appearances.
