Should the gospel be preached to everyone?
Matthew 10:5-6 and 15:24 have Jesus restrict his and his disciples' mission to "the lost sheep of the house of Israel" — explicitly forbidding any approach to Gentiles or Samaritans. Matthew 28:19 and Mark 16:15 reverse this completely, commanding the disciples to teach "all nations" and preach to "every creature."
Critical scholarship: Widely regarded as a genuine contradiction.

When did Jesus ascend into heaven?
Luke 24:51 has Jesus ascend on the day of resurrection itself, after a single day of post-resurrection appearances. Mark 16:19 has the ascension at the close of a sequence of appearances.
