Matthew 6:10 has Jesus teach disciples to pray *genēthētō to thelēma sou, hōs en ouranō kai epi gēs* — 'your will be done, as in heaven so on earth' — taking the perfect obedience of heaven as the model for which earth is the petition. Revelation 12:7 then has *egeneto polemos en tō ouranō* — 'there was war in heaven' — between Michael and the dragon.
