What current science says

Human emotions are electrochemical processes in the brain. They don't generate seismic waves, atmospheric disturbances, or any physical force outside your own body. The most powerful emotion you've ever felt produced roughly the same external physical force as a sleeping hamster. Also, the sky doesn't have 'foundations' — it's just atmosphere gradually thinning into space.

What the text says

This comes from 2 Samuel 22:8. 'The earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth' — the text claims raw anger literally caused seismic and atmospheric events.
