51. He is the tower of salvation] So the Qrî: cp. Psa_61:3; Pro_18:10 : but the Kthîbh, the Versions, and Psa_18:50 read, Who giveth great deliverance. The difference between the consonants of the words in the original is very trifling (מנדול–מנדיל).
