For the unbelieving husband is sanctified in the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified in the husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.

If a husband believes, is his wife saved also?
1 Corinthians 7:14 says the unbelieving spouse is sanctified through the believing one; Acts 16:31 promises the Philippian jailer that he and his household will be saved through his belief. 1 Corinthians 7:16 — written by the same Paul, in the same chapter — asks rhetorically, "How do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband?"
Critical scholarship: Leans toward reconciliation.

Is it OK to marry unbelievers?
1 Corinthians 7:12-14 has Paul instruct believers not to leave unbelieving spouses, and even says the unbelieving partner is sanctified by the believer. 2 Corinthians 6:14-17 forbids being unequally yoked with unbelievers and demands separation.
