    2 Peter 2:4 says the rebellious angels were cast into hell and bound in chains of darkness, and Jude 6 repeats that the angels who left their proper estate are kept in everlasting chains under darkness. Job 1:7, Job 2:2, and 1 Peter 5:8 describe Satan as actively walking the earth — going to and fro, prowling like a lion seeking whom he may devour.
