  • When was the woman who touched Jesus's robe cured?

    Mark 5:29 and Luke 8:44 say the bleeding stopped "immediately" — *euthys* in Mark, *parachrema* in Luke — at the instant she touched Jesus' garment. Matthew 9:22 says the woman "was made whole from that hour" (*apo tēs hōras ekeinēs*), explicitly placing the healing after Jesus turns and speaks to her, not at the moment of contact.

    Critical scholarship: Leans toward a genuine contradiction.
