What current science says

Stars are massive balls of plasma millions or billions of miles away. The nearest star beyond our sun, Proxima Centauri, is 4.24 light-years away — that's about 25 trillion miles. Stars don't care about human wars any more than a bonfire in California cares about a soccer game in Brazil. This is straight-up astrology, which has zero scientific support.

What the text says

This comes from Judges 5:20. 'The stars in their courses fought against Sisera' — the text literally claims celestial bodies intervened in a ground battle.
