What current science says

No treatment in the history of medicine has ever achieved a 100% cure rate for all diseases simultaneously. Even our best targeted therapies — antibiotics for bacterial infections, for example — have failure rates due to resistance, allergies, and complications. The most effective vaccine ever made (smallpox) took nearly 200 years of global effort to eradicate one single disease. Claiming every sick person across multiple towns was cured by touching clothing is a statistical impossibility that ignores everything we know about disease diversity and treatment response.

What the text says

This comes from Mark 6:56. The text says people 'laid the sick in the streets' to touch 'the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole' — claiming a literal 100% cure rate from fabric contact across an entire region.
